Effects of Marketing Innovation on Organizational Performance in Lagos, Nigeria

The key background to this study was to probe the effect of marketing innovation on organizational development from spotlights of different marketing innovation variables. The overall purpose and focus of the analysis is to create new understanding on the impacts of marketing innovativeness on corporate success. The major problem is the inability of firms to track performance metric. The research questions centered on the what, how and why of process, product, pricing and brand packaging innovation effect on organizational performance? The study method used was Random Sampling Technique. The method of data analysis was mixed method data analysis with emphasis on quantitative research with quantitative data collection that uses statistical analysis; that are descriptive and inferential. This method met the key study objectives. The population of the Study is 120 and sample size is 112 for the quantitative research which used questionnaire as the data collection method. Age range that cut across both gender is between 30 to 65.
The chief findings of this study has several important inferences for organizations. Strong positive correlations as well as significant regression results indicate that product innovation produces a central role in the quest to augmenting business performance. Organizations should prioritize investments in product-related innovations to drive growth. Product and brands innovation had an effect of significance on business performance.
Contribution of the research to marketing is humongous. Knowledge gap in product innovation, pricing innovation, brand packaging innovation and process innovation have been sufficiently revealed. Some implications for future study involves making informed decisions based on robust data analysis will be better positioned to thrive in a competitive marketplace. (Alosani, Yusoff, and Al-Dhaafri, 2019).
